Who we are
a Nepal-based non-profit media organization, founded on April 27, 2020. It produces investigative multimedia stories related to social justice and accountability issues using the latest tools and techniques. NIMJN also provides advanced investigative multimedia reporting, training, and mentorship for journalists.
NIMJN is also registered with Department of Information and Broadcasting (Registration number: 4517-2080/2081) and Press Council Nepal (Registration number: 4492-2080/081)
We are a member of GIJN which has around 244 member groups in 90 countries.
We are also a new partner organization with OCCRP , a mission-driven non-profit newsroom and one of the largest investigative journalism organizations in the world.
We are also a new member and part of the first cohort of Asian Dispatch, a Pan-Asia newsroom and reporting network focused on innovative collaborations and championing journalism
